The band was established in 1995 and it has soon become one of the most respected bluegrass bands in the Czech Republic. In 2001 the PBB was voted # 1 European Band at the EWOB (European World of Bluegrass) in Voorthuizen, NL (2nd place in 2008). The Petr Brandejs Band has played at festivals and clubs in the Czech Republic as well as abroad (Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Slovakia, Slovenia, Netherlands, Norway) as much as the schedules of its busy members allows. The PB Band organizes its own annual March and October bluegrass workshops in the Czech Republic.


   Since 2004 the PBB has been performing as a trio, taking material from its own originals as well as from the traditional bluegrass, old time, swing and other resources. With two fine singers and excellent instrumental skills the band provides fine acoustic music.
